DLS · Offline / Low-Signal Continuity (In the Field)

How operational truth survives poor signal — invisible sync when the bars come back.

When a driver taps START SHIFT in a no-signal pit or remote job-site corner, the platform quietly stores the update on the device and syncs when signal returns. Operational truth never disappears — it just waits.

Why this mattersOperational truth must NEVER disappear because signal failed. Drivers in pits, job-site bottoms, or remote routes are operationally real, and the platform must never punish them for being where the work happens.
What happens next
  • Device caches up to 3 pending updates
  • When signal returns, sync is automatic
  • Indicator shows 'Update waiting to sync' · then it disappears
  • No panels · no manual retries · no technical language
If sync seems stuck (10+ minutes), opening the page manually will force another connectivity check. Operations never falls further behind than signal allows.
