Can't sign in to PM

Quick fixes when /pm/login isn't working.

PM uses per-user email + password. Each PM has their own account scoped to the projects they manage. If you can't get in, walk through these in order.

  1. Confirm you're at /pm/login (NOT /admin/login or any other portal door).
  2. Check caps lock and spelling. Passwords are case-sensitive.
  3. If this is your first login, use the temporary password an admin gave you. You'll be forced to change it.
  4. Use 'Forgot password?' for a reset link by email (single-use, 30-minute expiry).
  5. Check spam if the reset email doesn't arrive. If it's still missing, your operator may have the wrong email on file.
  6. If you see 'account disabled' or 'locked', contact your operator.
Why this mattersPM scope is project-based, not portal-based. Each PM signs in with their own account so the audit log can attribute every action to the right person. Sharing PM credentials defeats the audit trail and makes disputes harder to resolve later.
Do NOT use another PM's credentials, even temporarily. The audit log will attribute every action to them — including any approval, edit, or close-out you perform. If you need cross-PM access, ask your operator for proper delegation.
PM lockouts auto-clear after 15 minutes. If you're locked out twice in a week, the issue is almost always the wrong portal door, not the password.
