Can't sign in to Shop
Quick fixes when /shop/login isn't working.
Shop uses per-user email + password. If you can't get in, walk through these in order.
- Confirm you're at /shop/login (NOT /admin/login or any other portal door).
- Check caps lock and spelling. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- If this is your first login, use the temporary password an admin gave you. You'll be forced to change it.
- Use 'Forgot password?' for a reset link by email (single-use, 30-minute expiry).
- Check spam if the reset email doesn't arrive. If it's still missing, your operator may have the wrong email on file.
- If you see 'account disabled' or 'locked', contact your operator.
Why this mattersShop is its own isolated scope. Admin tokens do NOT satisfy Shop endpoints automatically — that's intentional, because shop sign-offs are referenced during insurance disputes and need a clean per-user audit trail.
Do NOT type your Shop password into another portal's login form (Safety, HR, PM, Dispatch, Admin). Each portal has its own login. Repeated bad attempts on the wrong portal can temporarily lock that account.
If you're locked out, wait 15 minutes — the lockout self-clears — or contact your operator. Shop lockouts usually mean the wrong login URL, not the wrong password. Bookmark /shop/login on day one to avoid the issue.
