MASCI's documentation isn't busywork. Every form, every photo, every report exists to answer a question that comes up later — sometimes weeks later, sometimes years.
- Daily reports → answer 'what got built today?'
- Time records → answer 'did the paycheck match the work?'
- Incident reports → answer 'what happened?' for insurance, doctors, lawyers
- Equipment records → answer 'who had what and was it working?'
- Photos → answer 'what did it look like?'
Why this mattersMost disputes — over hours, over damage, over what was agreed — get settled by whatever was written down at the time. People who document well get the benefit of the doubt. People who don't, don't.
