Can't sign in to Dispatch

Quick fixes when /dispatch-portal/login isn't working.

Dispatch uses per-user email + password. If you can't get in, walk through these in order.

  1. Confirm you're at /dispatch-portal/login (NOT /admin/login or any other portal door — Dispatch's URL is longer than most).
  2. Check caps lock and spelling. Passwords are case-sensitive.
  3. If this is your first login, use the temporary password an admin gave you. You'll be forced to change it.
  4. Use 'Forgot password?' for a reset link by email (single-use, 30-minute expiry).
  5. Check spam if the reset email doesn't arrive. If it's still missing, your operator may have the wrong email on file.
  6. If you see 'account disabled' or 'locked', contact your operator.
Why this mattersDispatch is its own isolated scope. Admin tokens do NOT satisfy Dispatch endpoints automatically — that's intentional, because dispatch records are referenced during utilisation reviews and need clean per-user attribution.
Do NOT type your Dispatch password into another portal's login form. Each portal has its own login. The Dispatch URL is /dispatch-portal/login — longer than HR's or Shop's — and confusing it with another portal door is the single most common first-week login mistake.
Bookmark /dispatch-portal/login on day one. It's the longest portal URL and the easiest to misremember. Lockouts self-clear in 15 minutes if you do hit one.
